The ‘Lass’ is out of the boatshed!

May 11, 2010

To a right-royal fanfare of no less than eight of Scotland’s finest pipers (currently taking a Pibroch master-class at Achiltibuie Piping College) the ‘Coigach Lass,’ carefully supported by over fifteen prospective local rowers and supporters, was gently carried out of the hothouse boatshed (posh poly-tunnel, really) into the cool of a beautiful Coigach evening and set down as gently as featherdown in the car park.

What a beautiful boat!!  When she was made comfy with supports, and her bung removed (ouch!) we all re-convened in the boatshed to discuss teams for the Anstruther fixture…. and it looks like enough folk want to go to justify taking the community minibus! Yay! Pictures of the whole wee event still on young Abi’s mobile phone but look back here soon! ( Abi – email them to yer Auntie Lesley as soon as poss please! )
