Oars and where they go and how they work

in a traditional skiff.

A rollock type arrangement but with rope and woodblock. Google ‘kabes’.

Ron D and Ali are making the ‘Lass’s‘ gunnels now, and when I was down at the boatshed earlier a very sweet mahogany rubbing strip was being glued and clamped.

Not be long ’til we are painting her up!
