The Big Buie Brunch! Mmmmm!

‘How do you like your eggs in the morning? I like mine with a skiff !’ ..as Julia warbled wittily the other day.

Get them on Sunday 14th November  at the Hall ‘Bistro’ from 11.30am. Last food orders 1pm.

A delicious home-made Brunch with all the trimmings and a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz.. complete with comfy seating areas in the main hall (take it slow and easy) the Sunday papers and fresh tea and coffee refills as you peruse the news, scan the sudoku or just chew the fat with friends.

On the menu: proper Kedgeree, Surf-n-turf with local hand-dived scallops and Highland black pudding (think ‘boudin noir’ but not so girlie), delish BLTs, local Eggs Benedict, American pancakes and maple syrup, breakfast Muffins etc – all home-made with love by the ‘Coigach Lass’ rowers….for you!

£10. (Kids menu £2.) The lounge will be used as a kids area and will have art materials, games and cartoons/film, all close enough to the adults for supervision…but far enough away for relaxation to happen. Aaaah!

Items for the raffle – for this is a fundraising effort to pay for the wood to make new oars despite the very reasonable prices! – will be very gratefully received by any rower. Thanks.

(Ooh! I can almost taste those pancakes with maple syrup dribbling over them now! And the Sunday papers…on SUNDAY…in Achiltibuie???? Height of bloomin luxury, I say.)
